Easier to just buy a bond fund I think? Why buy an individual bond?
Extremely liquid still in comparison. Can go to any bank and cash immediately without paying wire transfer fees if you need money right then and there.
I’d definitely look at a fund rather than direct ownership. There are plenty of ETF options available.
I bonds funds or hedged I bond funds.
go for gsec bond with extended duration as long term yield are improving
