Hi Everyone, I have got job referrals from 4 microsoft referees for Cloud Solutions Architect role at Microsoft Canada, on Azure, unfortunately the HR briefly talked about the role and learnt about me n thats all, its been 3 months. My junior whom I was training under me actually became CSA at Microsoft, so confused. have been working in the cloud scene for 5+ years and I am unsure why I am not even considered for an interview. Iv got a lot of cloud certs as well. This is disheartening :( Microsoft

7+ YOE - 3 in tech support role (after BE) and 4+ in BA & PM role (after MBA). Worked on RPA and process improvement projects for 2 yrs. Currently working on internal tool implementation projects - PMO, UAT, change strategy, etc.

So I work as an assistant manager at a restaurant for the past 9 months. I've worked in restaurants for the past 6 years science I was 16. Now I'm 22. I went to a trade school for media and film. I got a dream opportunity to work in the field making about the same or 10% more. I told myself the only reason I'd leave this company is for this type of job. Should I take the chance at this job and leave the restaurant that is on the rise and growing?

I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

Protocol for responding (or not) to unsolicited emails from recruiters to your work email? In other words, is it acceptable to just ignore without a response? I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I need help with compensation info. I received an offer of 120k base (TC 140k) with JPMorgan (NJ Office) as a senior IT Audit associate and I've interviewed with Microsoft and awaiting feedback for IT Audit Manager role (remote). I wanted to know what the compensation breakdown (base, stocks, bonus etc) for the Microsoft role will look like. Also, is it worth waiting for a response before signing JPM, as I've stalled for a bit? I have 6+ YOE. Thoughts please.
