Hi everyone,

I joined XYZ as a Software Developer after a 6–7 month unemployment gap post internship. It’s been 4–5 months, but I’ve only worked on POCs, not the core product.

I feel I’m not learning much and am concerned about my growth. Given how hard it was to get this job, I’m unsure whether to stay or start exploring other opportunities.

Would appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

I’m a Junior at Colgate University and have been heavily searching for a summer 2022 internship since October of 2021. I have had countless networking calls with various alumni in different professions and have learned plenty of great information, but have not gotten lucky enough to find an internship. I’m beginning to worry that opportunities are going to become hard to come by for summer of 2022. Any advice?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

I finished my internship at EY LLP (Feb-Jul) after nearly 6 months. I've been promoted to Senior Analyst. Is there a set time of month that I must be in this position in order to be considered for the next promotion?

Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. We Indians are so poor we can't think anything else except money. Whole Fishbowl is all about YOe and Salary. No one interested about if any company doing any innovation or not. B-Tech colleges put ads with Package and Campusing only. Almost 99% Indian YouTube thumbnail is like "5 lakh to 40 lakh", "Interview Experience in bracket 50Lpa" etc.. Hardly we can see Foreign Editorial things marked with Packages.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

What is the CTC offered for grade C4.3E in Software AG in Bangalore?

I am a senior Angular Developer with 7+ yrs of exp. I got an offer from EPAM Anywhere(not EPAM) with base CTC as 6 LPA and base+project CTC as 26 LPA complete remote work.
FYI if I go on bench I'll be getting only 50000/- INR per month instead of my 216000/- INR pm with working on the project.
Just wanted to know how EPAM Anywhere as a company is? What are the chances of someone going on a bench? Is it a good choice to select EPAM Anywhere at this stage of my career?

Hey Friends, need help!! I am a developer with 1.6 YoE, got placed on-campus (NIT), can code well in Java and Python, but want to move into an analyst type role as I am not sure if I can be a good 'developer'.
Is it an ideal move for a long career, or if I want to do an MBA in future?
