I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.

According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?
