I'm seeking an entry-level position in US Taxation. I have basic knowledge of US Individual Taxation, including forms 1040, 1065, and 1120. I have completed my B.Com and M.Com.

Currently, I work in Accounts Payable at Tata Consultancy Services in Kolkata and have 2 years of experience. Previously, I worked for 1 year in a CA firm.

I'm eager to transition into US Taxation and would appreciate any assistance.

When do partners decide when an associate is good enough to make partner? I’m a senior and it is extremely clear to me when an associate has it or doesn’t, and moreover it doesn’t take eight years to figure it out; it takes just one or two matters for me to know if they’re adding value or are ultimately just a commodity. It’s hard for me to avoid the conclusion that associates are largely being strung along by partners who are going to can them at some point, long after that decision is made.

Hi folks, my base location as per EY GDS offer letter is Noida but I want it to be Gurgaon as my hometown is in Jaipur and Gurgaon is more convenient for me.. I sent email to my senior manager and got response that you can use flexibility and work in any Gds office in India. However, I feel that in case my base location is not being changed, I should shift to Noida rather than Gurgaon as there might be any formalities or facilities which we need to avail in our base location only..
