What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.
I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

When switching jobs, everything always feels like it needs to be rushed, I can totally relate. But you have the power to slow things down! If you haven’t already given the new company a start date (or honestly, even if you have) tell them you need 3-4 weeks to straighten everything out at your old job. Then, pull your bosses aside as soon as possible to tell them you will be leaving. Give them notice for your last day dated 2 weeks (pretty standard) after the transition with possibly a few added days if you’re feeling generous. Explain that you’d like to help in any way you can to make this transition easier for them (training new employees, wrapping up project tasks, recording notes for future team members, etc). Deflect any pointed questions about “why you’re leaving” and maintain that this is an exciting next step for your career. Avoiding gossip/finger pointing is essential to an amicable split (in my opinion). Lastly, give yourself at least a few days off in between jobs, you deserve it!
