McKinsey & Company Hi everyone, need your opinion. I got a call from McKinsey last Thursday late in the evening confirming to schedule an interview next day morning. I had a client call so I asked if next week would work. The recruiter told me that they'll check and revert back. I tried contacting the recruiter but they're not taking up my calls.
Anyone from McKinsey & Company who can share views whether this is a lost cause now? Or is there something I can still do.

Folks, need some advice here. I got my hike letter at Unilever and it looks like the hike is only on the basic salary (as per the letter) and not on entire fixed (basic + hra + other). I joined the company only last year and I'm trying to understand if this is the usual thing here. I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.

Is CitiusTech a worth joining? I have heard they have long and late night working hours? I am looking for a wlb and better learning prospects.

I'm at Kolkata. Started off with 1.8LPA, currently around 11LPA. BTech+MBA. Always get scores of 4 out of 5 (exceeds expectations) KRA YoY and pointless praises about how well I managed projects, yada yada. I get good work-life balance.

My post is targeted towards, Indian Government officials as Business owners are very unreasonable on their demands to deliver and least care about the specifics on scope they want out of software Product. Best example we can take is from Income tax portal fiasco and Entirely blame is transferred on Vendor.
It is portrayed like Infosys is a failure. Everyone knows how successful they are in IT sector globally. It is just at Indian public sector project where they have to face hardship. Why?
