Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Better join
The reason being the hiring process has become longer
Few years back, they used to finish interviews and give offer within 2 days
Now even for immediate joiner they take 20 days to give offer
So i cannot waste my time for any interview process and wait like a joker
I got an offer from a company I haven’t heard about and that too from a different domain after about 10 days from my LWD.Although i had given interview for a MNC bank and had cleared almost all rounds but i have not received any confirmation till today from the bank. It’s been a week now that i have joined that company and so far it feels good. So from my experience i can say join whatever you have in your hand who knows it turns out to be good.
Can’t agree more.
Depends on circumstances, if you have money in savings to sustain for next 6-8 or 12 months and you think that you can apply further and better your chances of getting offers that meet your ‘wish list/check list’ and your family dynamics permit then you can try..else go with offer that you have in hand.
we typically tend to evaluate best offer on many points based on information available in open source however despite all the hard work we sometimes tend to land in company that turns out to be a bad choice once we work and see conditions on ground.
In such case switch and move. Learn from mistakes (there is always a silver lining. You will always learn or acquire some knowledge related to your skill set and its but obvious that your overall workex will increase) and try to better your chances next time. My friend.
It is 33 days away and no offer yet.
