All the island pretty much have snorkeling or scuba diving, and a lot of hiking and activities. If it's me, I would pick Maui and Kauai, very beautiful. Although big island has the "night time snorkeling/scuba diving with manterey", which is an amazing experience for an evening. Definitely pick Maui though. For nature, Kauai, much under developed than other islands.
Lodging: We did both Marriott property and Airbnb. Hotel because we have points, but honestly our Airbnb is SO much more memorable and adventurous. We stayed at a off-the-grid place before, it was breathtaking and we still talk about it today. For hotels, you just know what you get yourself into. So depends on what you are looking for the experience.
We went to Hawaii multiple times, but never stay 14 days in a row, we broke down in different trips, but if it's 14 days, I would recommend stay a bit longer in Maui than Kauai or Big island.
I love Ohau too, but it's just very commercialized. And I personally don't feel the connection. 🤷
Thank you, this was very helpful :)
I just did this. Shoot me a dm for my itinerary.
