Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. One of my relative got selected in Sopra steria, but she never accepted their offer.
They automatically assumed that she has accepted and proceeded with her joining. Even though she never joined.
Now they are saying that, please pay the recovery due amount of 10k, otherwise we will take legal action.
It is not about the amount, but she never accepted their offer.
Please suggest what could happen in this case?
Can they go for legal proceedings? If so will it impact her career?
