Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?
What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

As someone who reviews a lot of resumes - I will always talk to an employee referral. This is how we find our best people. So they go to the top of the line

Varies significantly between companies. It can mean nothing; the recruiter will at least look at your resume, the hiring manager will, and there will be a guaranteed phone screen or HM interview, all the way to a significant advantage over other candidates in the final shortlist. At some startups, it might even just get you hired.
Fishes??? Just ask your question, no weird greeting necessary.
It depends on the quality of the referral. If the person doing the referring actually knows the person, that carries a lot more weight than if they're just referring because a random person on LinkedIn connected and asked them to.
