Hi fishes! I Have an interview at an agency in NY I’ve been crushing on for a while. Having a hard time figuring out my salary range. I make 90k in SF at agency, would it be crazy for me to enter the discussion at 85-90k? Knowing I’d be willing to be backed down to around 80k (give or take 2k). Glassdoor is a little confusing bc there’s separate suggestions for “senior designer” and “senior graphic designer”. Anyone have suggestions or willing to offer how much they make? Thanks y’all!

Anyone want to talk about what they are expecting as a baseline % bump at the end of the year? I’ll go first, 20% minimum before considering performance which was a mix of exceptional / very exceptional; lol! I have good anecdotal evidence that the market easily supports this.

So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months. I was prepared but was out of breath the entire interview, had a knot in my throat, had trouble finding my words. It’s like I had PTSD when this manager came into the picture. Ever had that?

Please give me a rough estimate on how much hike we can expect in my annual salary revision. I expected 8LPA when I joined. They gave me 5LPA with a promise of revision in 3months after joining. They inc it to 7.75LPA after 4m and during appraisal cycle gave 25k 11months to make it to 8LPA. In Oct my hike is due, so I would to like negotiate my hike. My friend have cleared Tata Elxsi interview 5 months back and received her offer letter. Still now she haven’t recvd a joining letter. Couple of other friends are also facing similar issue.
Does anyone have any update on this?
Tried mailing to the HR and to their help desk. No response.
Its really disappointing. Even if they are not able to onboard candidates now, the least they can do is aknowledge and respond to the queries.
Hope someone can give more insight onto this issue.

I’ve been at my (smaller) agency almost 5yrs and got one raise (a nice $12k bump) during that time—is that sufficient? Is one increase in that span normal? I also recognize being somewhere 5 years is rare these days. The honeymoon period at any agency seems to be 2.5—3yrs before bolting. Not complaining, just asking. Have y’all been getting raises/bumps in any kind of regular cycle? Thx.
