This week they told me to travel to a remote location for UAT and I said I won't be available for in-person but can give online support. I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead Product Owner and the head of HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud.
