This talk is for year end rating. Progressing is rating. Progression is when you become S2 to S3. So probably she is trying to say this year it may not happen but with few more goals and achievements next year she can push your case for S3.

Between I see they hire people with less knowledge and same yrs of experience people directly for s3, and for me even after 1 yr, not giving that role what kind of hypocrisy is this😅.
Not just EY it's same everywhere, And I'm asking for more responsibilities and they are not giving, and reason is ur not taking extra responsibility.
Hate corporate life man. I don't want promotion but why such partiality.
