Thoughts on CPOAX?
I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

You’re right in that SEO is a field where results are usually seen in 6-12 months, since it’s dependant on google’s algorithm. You need patience when it comes to SEO but they value it can bring is tremendous since users from organic sources are much more valuable than paid.

In addition to testing on your own site I would recomemnded running analysis work why certain pages rank Vs others through site audits.. screaming frog is a great tool , site speed analysis,.SEMrush. pick a site and start digging into the SERPs. It's fun to spot the issues other sites have. Njoy
I recommend start with the basics, there are plenty of free courses online and some are paid but affordable. You don't need to spend much to get started.

After you have a decent understanding (1-3 months) please apply for a Junior SEO role and stick there for 1 year. You will learn more doing hands-on work with a client or company than you will in 10 years of watching videos at home.
After 1-2 years of junior experience you should be applying for middle-tier roles and after 4-6 years you can should be well educated and experienced enough to land $80-100K Manager SEO Roles.
Take it from my personal experience ;)
