We want Problems, we don’t want solutions

The cutest trio 😊

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

For ux 25 is low with 3 year experience. Try to negotiate with other offers, don't stretch much
Maybe it is, but that will suffice my current financial responsibilities and protect my interests in the long run. I would not want to stretch more or start offer shopping. But WLB is top priority so will also settle for 22 if WLB is good.
Not sure what WU will offer, they are still discussing themselves.
Any insight would really help.
You are asking for almost a 80% hike
If job opportunity attracts you then you can lower your expectations.
Yes I'm open to negotiation. I can go upto 22 LPA.
But i believe this rule of 30% standard hike is very vague. Maybe I was underpaid a year ago, and in this one year I've upskilled myself to a great extent. Now I'm 80% more of my skillset than I was last year. I can bring 180% value to the table.
And you've judged this fact in the interview as well.
Is it still fair to give me just 30% maximum hike?
Wouldn't I still feel underpaid besides working so hard on my skills?
While the organisation will expect me to work with 180% efficiency and get benefitted with 180x, I'll be compensated at 130x. (Which is usually 1.3x)
Indian markets don't regard skill upgradation much - harsh reality.
I am just giving you a top level thinking - giving a significant hike to an incoming employee can disrupt the current employee satisfaction. Everyone would demand a market correction.
My father has loans, I've student loan. Why am I working my ass off to earn more so that I can pay off my family's debts? I should keep working the basic 30% and accept my life as is. It's such a stupid rule.
Heck, WU is a MNC with HQ in Denver, Colorado. Yet they've this rule, then this is very hard to digest
Does she love ❤ me, does she not? In some jobs, you can even bribe your way through, I suppose 😅?
HOD of IT? Normally, I would take it as no? No use comparing cities, if it's shaky? And yes, another offer is the only way to negotiate, provided they've actually liked you, since their were a few rounds of interview before, how many & with whom? Did it include HR round, normally HR is the last round for non- IT jobs, at least! I'm not sure about IT?
So managers and VP babus started selling the prachaar about sustainability in long run and low hike fundas here too as if they’re doing some sorta charity. Jab khud ek ek mini bank jitna salary leke baithe hai, why don’t u conduct this charity preaching with yourself first!?? Remember charity begins at home.
