Is cognizant still in work from home ?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Inform over email.. This will stop them from doing anything illegal, and you will get the best solution available
Yeah got it..will do the same..thanks for your heads-up
First of all, congratulations!! As much as I know MS, there won't be any impact on your selection, but you should inform them in good faith.
Thanks for your inputs
congratulations!
by the timeline you will need maternity leave somewhere in August. so that would mean you will in job for 6 months or so.
given that, it is better to discuss with MS right away about the eligibility as for many orgs you must have served >=8 months before going for 24 week maternity leave.
ideally they will not revoke the offer but it completely depends on what is the criticality of your role and how it will affect the deliverables in your absence. 100% wfh post-partum will also depend on your manager & policies.
Thanks for your valuable inputs.
