Selected in a Big4 firm and one MNC shortlisting is going on, hopefully will get selected within 7-8days. The MNC will be offering good package, but Big4 is just giving 20% hike in my salary and waiting for my decision to say yes or no,to proceed further with offer letter. Query :1. If I say yes to the Big4, and when they issue the offer letter, and then I reject, can they blacklist me. 2. Also if accept the offer and say no, in that case can they blacklist me from their firm. You can live pretty comfortably with 120k in Dallas. Wouldn’t say it’s much different CoL wise compared to Houston.
Houston and Dallas are pretty comparable. As with both, your cost of living will vary based on where in the metroplex you live, but $120K should afford you a comfortable life
Yeah I make 90k in Dallas and am more than comfortable.
Is this evolv?
Nope
Okay.. well Evolv is offering 120K, Dallas , less than 300.
If it’s “not” the total comp at Evolv is Pennie’s compared to deloitte.. not sure where you’re at currently but with the small companies , ask about util goals.. their pipeline.. hired to a project.. is it truly consulting vs staffing firm.. from my interviews I realized small consulting in Dallas doesn’t meet the mark
Depends on if you are single, married, kids? Buying or renting? 120k for a single person is more than enough for Dallas unless you are renting is downtown for 8k a month high rises
There are plenty of nice places to rent in Plano/ Frisco. Look into Legacy West area.
