I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

Hello Fishes - I have worked in Intel Corporation for a year but not as direct employee. It was my client location. My direct payroll was LNT Services. How can I take benefit of Intel Corporation as I was NOT a direct employee there. Can I mention in my resume. If yes, how and what to mention in my resume?

Normally you will face 2-3 rounds of interveiws in which 2 can be technical.
Interviewer main focus will be on your java skills. Like core java, understanding of OOPS, new feautures of java, etc.
They can also test your hands on coding skill on java using lamdas and streams.
Since, you are also working on spring boot. They will ask basic spring questions like it's benifits, basic annotations, how to conifgure it, changing default server, integrating rest endpoints, etc.
Also get some knowledge on restfull services and http verbs. Difference between rest and soap.
Basic DB questions can come your way based on your resume.
Overall of you want to know how much prepared you are, I'll suggest to give some interviews of companies you are not interested in, so that in case it doesn't go well you won't have anything to loose.
After 4-5 basic interviews you will gain confidence as well as enough knowledge to tackle basic interview questions.
Best of luck!
Hey! I am currently learning DSA in Java & I already know Java 8, Spring Boot. Can you suggest some companies which require basic DSA & not FAANG level questions.
Thanks in advance!!
