I’m a Program Manager at Adobe with 14 years experience in digital. As a PM, I’m a delivery lead/engagement manager on large platform implementations and multi-solution consulting engagements. I also owned a digital agency, was an integrated media director for a Dentsu agency & worked in customer success, etc. I’m at $200k annually with salary & commission & am starting my job hunt in search of more money. Any suggestions for roles I should seek to maximize my salary potential for my experience?
Any WSGR folks who can provide a brief overview of the various office “groups” (Sierra, etc.)? What is the face time requirement? Are some groups more demanding of face time than others?
Have 2 offers: one in FP&A, some times busy with special projects, pay is $90k, parking sucks.
The other is in HR, Jan-March is usually busy (around 50hrs/wk), pay is $80k, team dynamic/environment/culture is great, company is looking more for long term (supervisors and above have been working there for 10+ years).
I can see myself in both roles, I like the pay in one but the company in the other might be a better fit based on interactions with the managers. What would you do?
Are there any companies offering remote work, (happy to do tech sales or management) and that I could be based in Europe? I need to get out of recruitment asap! Feeling the itch for too long now.
We are expecting a second child in about 15 days and my first one is 2.5 yrs old. My wife took a break after our first child and we never had a nanny. Our entire family lives outside of US. With the current situation, none of our extended family members are now able to travel and help. we are worried about hiring a nanny at this point because of covid concerns. What are my childcare options so that I can be with my wife during the labor?

Considering an offer - 13% base salary discount for a lower cost of living city/state with no income tax. Good offer? Cost of living is basically 40% less than current city/state.
A little bit of a noob question I guess - once your spouses i140 is approved, can you apply for a H4 EAD yourself or you need a firm to do it for you (like an H1B)?
