Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.
Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

52 is an amount worth taking risk. My 2 cents
If you are confident of your skill, then jump. Even if they won't renew your contract, you can look for other opportunities. But have to be aware that not many companies will have similar requirements and paying beyond your current CTC - 52lpa. So you may have to settle for less.
Check if you are confident of your skills - if they r in demand
Location constraints or not - there might be good opportunities in different locations.

And you're into automation. You'll find a job,, even after an year. Amount is 2X.
Go for it !
Maybe also build a larger emergency fund with the extra money to safeguard against not having a job for 2-3 months extra.
52 seems like a way huge offer than what you are currently earning and it's worth a try. In case your contract isn't renewed, you will always be able to find any other job Or perhaps your old company would also not shy away from taking you back
Automation as in RPA?
Worked on automation using different tools yes current one is RPA
Go for it. Even if your contract is not renewed and you have to sit at home for 1yr while searching for another job. It won't make any difference bcz you already have 2 yrs worth of salary in 1.
