Hi guys! I had an interview last Saturday with the CEO for an EA role (that was the 3rd interview). The company rushed the process for me because they knew I had another offer. The first 2 interviews went extremely well that’s why they rushed & asked the ceo to interview me on a Sat. morning. Huge common point: The CEO and I are both French. The interview went kinda weird… it was less than 15min. Looked distracted/ not prepared. When I asked him questions he barely elaborated. Comments⬇️

I have received positive feedback on my interview but the job says "Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future". I will require sponsorship. Does that mean Deloitte will now be able to hire me? Or will it just delay the hiring process? What was your timeliness if you were in the same boat with deloitte?

I got a call from Deloitte for a senior analyst role at and after clearing the main rounds I’ve been told that I’ll be working as an analyst role as I don’t have 3 years of experience (2 years 11 months to be exact) and this April I’ll be anyway completing 3 years. Exploring finance roles (program finance, FP&A) in the Northern VA / DC area (HCOL) after 9 YOE as an active duty financial management officer. I am usually being offered senior financial analyst roles at about the $120K mark. I usually do when the company is larger than 70ish people or older than a few years, but when it’s tiny like a seed startup, I know diversity can be a lower priority and there usually isn’t a recruiter/peoples/hr person in place yet. Thoughts?

I'm coming to the end of a contract term and being converted to FTE.

The offer was presented to me by the hiring manager and not HR/Recruiter. To me it is a lower base salary offer than expected, so I asked for info on the total compensation package (base, benefits, bonus, stock/rsu, etc.), which I was told about when they took me on under the contract with the intention to convert.

Hiring manager sends me an email with only standard benefits, no bonus, etc. Are these red flags?

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job
