Hi all, I accepted a position at my current company that I've been at for four years as a PM starting at 95k flat. I'm located SLC so I feel like the salary is quite low. If I contribute the 20K to a company 401k and my employer match is 50%, does the employer contribution count in the max amount allowed! Meaning will my contributions +the amount my employer matches push me over the allowed amount?

Content Producer here making $75k (Portland). I wear multiple hats (agency producer, shooter, editor). Typically work on smaller budget digital/social video projects $10k-$150k. Just realized that I have $15k in a Roth IRA that I’d forgotten about. Unfortunately, I’m now over the income limit for contribution. I’d prefer to keep this account as I like the flexibility I have and realized that this has made more gains than my 401k (%-wise).

I need help. My toxic boss was just pushed out to a diff role. Her 2 directs now report to me. They’ve already gone to interim skip to say negative things about me. Ironic since I’ve never managed them and barely have contact. My skip didn’t believe a word, but now I need to “find a path forward”. These 2 have been protected as part of the posse, low results. I kept my mouth shut for a long time time as feeding into the negativity would have been exactly the derailer to chip at my reputation.
