Hi guys .Lately I’m applying for jobs , I have hundreds of applications but not a single interview . Am I doing something wrong? Can someone advise me what to do ? Are people in the same situation? I’m starting to think the jobs are not existing or are scams . I can not believe how hard is to find a job .

It’s a weird climate at the moment. Broaden your search (miles from home), revamp your resume and have multiple look at it. Also ask for feedback from friends you have made that are in leadership (site leaders…directors… sr directors).

It sounds old fashioned but it does help to bug them sometimes. If I want a specific job badly enough I will first call them and ask to speak to a hiring manager, if I don’t get anywhere or it’s not fast paced enough I will show up and ask to speak to them directly or set up a meeting to speak with them directly. If you are seriously hurting for a job I would also consider taking what transferable skills you have and applying them to slightly different sources of employment. If it has been a long time in between jobs consider setting aside pride and taking a pay cut for the time being. I have always been able to show my skills were legitimate and get the raise I want in the first few months, or change jobs because i’ve found that employers love steeling employees from other places.

I heard that some companies are advertising jobs supposedly just to get their overworked employees off their backs asking for more help. No idea how credible this is, but I have gotten notices that jobs have been pulled by the employer.

Looking for a job is like going by Maynard the sign never comes down and they. Always want part time

I’m going th the same thing. I got offered a job and it looked legit but after I researched and seen that the pay that was extreme high it was fake. It’s so hard to get an interview and like others said you either get ghosted or an email saying you were not chosen.

Unemployment level is very low right now so that means more people are working and companies aren't looking for people as much. You need to do research and find out what job sectors are in the most demand and make sure you are educated in that area. Make sure you have a large Network of business people and don't overlook finding recruiters in your employment field. If you're in the need of a job quickly, you can always contact your local temp to hire services.

First off, I just want to say good morning to you whomever you are, secondly I have to tell you that you are not the only one that is going through what you're going through, I've been unemployed since late January of this year and I fill out close to 1800 online applications, and out of those 1800 I must have been hit with at least 15 or 20 job interviews and out of those 15 to 20 job interviews I would say about six of them had called me, so I definitely feel what you're going through because it seems like now either there's a recession going on in this country, or these jobs are getting way too sophisticated in hiring potential employees, and they don't realize that they're hurting themselves when they deny a potential employee a chance to work because it's all about productivity, and if you're a business that doesn't have that many staff to be productive to keep your company up and running, then in the long run, that company is going to suffer to the point where they're going to have to scale back employees because they are not being productive enough or they don't have enough manpower to keep the company up and running or subsequently and unfortunately, the company is going to go out of business, and it's sad but that's the life of a business. So you are definitely not the only one that's going through what I'm going through and what so many other people on this particular job board is going through.💯💯💯💯

No. It’s not you. It’s the job market.

Jmo but I think AI has a lot to do with it. I also find myself wondering if these jobs are really available right now. I usually apply on their website and sometimes I don’t even see the mod that was on the job board. I am getting some interviews now, very few. At first absolutely none.

You’re not the only one bro 😎

Hello, hope you’re well :).

Honestly I’d say implement AI into job search, if companies can email you in less than 24 hours with a rejection ( this has happened to me more times than I can count) then you can reject them as well.

You can integrate Claude with Indeed..I saw some videos on YouTube about that, and I thought that might help the general people who apply for jobs. If you don’t want to use that for applications, you can simply use Claude for catering CVs and cover letters :) it’s a life changing experience compared to other artificial intelligence models out there!

Hope that helps :)

Yea you have to find a career that’s not sitting down their all hiring for electricians and plumbers gotta get on your feet everyone is sittin beside you in a row hoping they get the same job that they have to battle to keep! You have to have a profession nobody wants to do and you always have to stay the most valuable one around as far as stuff you can do faster than most and is more easily taught and quick to learn

I’m in the same situation. I have 25 years in my chosen field and can barely get an interview both in and out of my field. I always landed the great jobs. Times have changed!

Unfortunately I am seeing a lot of similar posts like this. They say unemployment is below 5%, which means there are a lot of people working. Maybe you should do research on the position you are applying for and see if you can find out what type of need there is for it right now. Are you applying for jobs that companies say they are actively hiring for?

A lot of us are feeling your pain. Im 57, spent 13 years in retention/sales. If you're irate about your bill. Spent hours on the phone, all over the map. Trying to cancel. But I need to calm you and upset! I just want to help. Life is hard enough. A freakin bill shouldn't send you off the deep end.

I never had an issue at interviews and it’s been awful the last few months

So I’m engaged in an interview process for a top FinTech company. It started the 1st week of August and just now I’ve gotten word from my recruiter that they didn’t update on any decisions made. I had my 3rd & final interview last Friday. My recruiter doesn’t communicate well nor does she let me communicate with the company direct. May I being led on? Am I still in the race for this role in your opinion with the details stated. Please message me if you would like to know more in detail.
