I am a licensed Realtor looking to start investing in Real Estate rentals. Any of you had experience transitioning? Did you keep doing traditional RE transactions? I'm personally interested in learning the wholesale side but with all the recent changes, I'm concerned about staying above board, fair practices and protectuing myself legally.

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.

I have a real estate client who at the top of his organization chart owns is 50/50 partners in a real estate investment company. First question is it advantageous to have the top of the organization 50/50 partners own the r/e company as an s-corp? That 50/50 company then owns 70% of holding company they own all the real estate as a partnership that the original partners are 35/35 and the investors own the remainder. All the real estate deals are then owned by this holding company.

My friend bought a nice condominium and his agent assured him that it had a garage. AFTER he signed the papers and moved in, the neighbors told him that the unit does not come with a garage. Can he sue the agent? He feels ripped off.
