I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?
I have been interviewed and selected for a role in EY UK. The status of my job application is “congratulations on receiving an offer from EY”.
However I have not received any email yet.
Can someone confirm which team sends the final offer coz the HR is saying that he has processed everything from his side.??EY

70K is too low in my opinion. Anything below 100K in UK is a no go for anyone earning more than 35LPA in India, especially with family.
Thanks ! I have already dropped the idea. Got an offer of 52 lacs. I am better here now. Peace.
Hope you are stepping down from an Indian firm designation when consider designation, it's low. Take home around 4K after tax slab, still visa cost recovery by monthly, rental, groceries, council bills, internet bills, travel costs, mobile bill. At the end of month, you might end up with 1000£ as savings, which is equivalent to 1lakh INR per month.
Someone mentioned in this thread that you can manage your family costs but can't save like India earning. That's the inflation in the UK, 70K is good but it depends on your situation, debts in India, family to support etc
Firstly congratulations!!
Could you please tell us how did you crack this job in the UK while being in India all the while?
Coming to the salary part I think 70k is a bit lower than the market rate for a manager
For non tech it’s good.
