I have approximately 15 years of work experience in the US. What is the higher end of the Senior Associate salary range and is that reasonable to ask for that?

Looking at roles in Seattle & SF - currently live in Chicago. Making 85k with 1.5 YOE. Tech/ big4 consulting / retail

If I want to maintain the same/ similar lifestyle (I have no roommates, no SO, some student loans, I am comfy, I don’t ball out by any means) what type of base comp should I be looking for?

What’s a fair salary increase after a year of inflation?

But my ex employer is not removing the returned part from my form 16 which means not only I have to return the whole amount but also pay tax for the retuned amount. Has anyone faces similar thing. I’m a second year BigLaw associate that pays market. I was offered the position at a modified salary and hourly expectation due to their expected work flow needs. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?
