I have a masters from a US college but I have done it in India where my US college is collaborated with an Indian college. Will I get any advantage on the master cap ?but my employer didn't ask about my college details to register.

Need suggestion. Got an offer with a product company A through referrel with just 70% hike. They initially told me to not look for any offer as it is a referral.
