You should reach out to a recruiting firm to help you land an entry level job or paid internship
Also, reach back out to your university’s advising office and they will be eager to help you get employed. It helps their statistics and rankings.
Be on the lookout for job fairs in your area, too. Your university probably knows when and where they happen for new college grads.

I have a GitHub that I made during college and I only have a few projects that were school based on there. Should I be focusing on my GitHub more?
Depending on your skillset, you might try finding some non-profits that could use your services as a volunteer (using that skillset.) It is a good way to get real-world experience and items for a resume, all while helping some worthy cause.
