Hi, I currently work at a management consultancy at grade 1 and have received an offer from Cap Invent for a grade 2. As far as I can see and from people I have spoken to, grade 2 at my current is a little less than grade 2 at Cap Invent. But I also bear in mind that there are no bonuses at junior ranks at Cap. At my current rank is it worth trying to negotiate a higher basic salary? If so how would I go about it?

I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. It’s a data analytics company with 5 PMs, was bought by a PE firm this year, and has a new (female) CEO as of Oct. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?

Do you think sticking it out in BL for 8 years pays off as far as in house prospects/salary go? Or is it all kind of the same after a certain time period. I’m in privacy if that helps (all aspects-trans, regulatory, lit).

Hey Fishes I have completed close to 4.5 years in EY under the Tax Operation team specialized in resource management. I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.
