I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. My whole family is full of extroverts. I'm the only odd one out, an introvert.
Whenever any relative or anyone visits us, they talk, laugh around etc. And I just sit there with my phone, scrolling any random app to let that time pass. People always comment on my nature that I'm so silent, I speak very less etc. They know it's my nature but they still make it a point to call it out. I don't have any reply to this, I just give a smile, that's it.
