I joined mphasis a few days back. Now I have a better job opportunity (HCL) with 20% more. Can I exit in 20 days from mphasis with prior information or should I abscond, if i abscond what are the consequences

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.

Any advice and past experiences in such career shit?

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.

I recently gave my small firm notice that I am leaving and moving to another state. I mentioned that I am considering starting my own practice in the new area, and the managing partner suggested that I transition to an “of counsel” position at a 1099 hourly rate (remote) while I got started. I thought the rate was a bit low, but I’m not sure what to compare it to. Anybody have any experience with these arrangements? Any advice on how to structure? Or if it’s worth it? Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?

I had an agreement with HR for CTC of 9lpa (8.5 fixed/50k variable). Now, she is telling that upper management didn't approve and they can only offer a CTC of 8.5lpa as fixed ( no variable component). Should I agree to this scenario? How should I negotiate in this situation? Pls suggest.
