Hi, I have an interview with HCL for a 5+ years Java Developer role. The first round is mentioned as a physical hackathon followed by technical and HR.

Can anyone share their experience? What kind of questions are asked in the hackathon—DSA, real-world coding, or system design? Also, what difficulty level should I expect?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult.
