Hi I have recently received offer from HSBC

Just wanted to understand on GCB level. Why do we have different job titles for same GCB

Lol depends what they offer you
How much they offered u ? Whats your current ?

The designation depends on the team you work with. I was told by the hr that, if you work for UK team, you will get that designation. Otherwise gcb5 is avp level. 4 is vp level. I think you need not worry until you get the level 5 here.

How much were u offered ?

25 LPA SENIOR CONSULTANT SPECIALIST

Exp ?

I am working on getting one. Will get atleast one

U got offer from HSBC and not joined yet ?but it shows u work at HSBC

Hey i would be joining next month. Can you please help me with the basic process of boarding process? Also what have you received from them?

Did they mention what's the average time frame, growth from AVP to VP?

2 yrs is a miraculous time line. I was told by colleagues that for every step within level, it takes 2 yrs. Which means from 5.1 to 4, it may take 6 yrs. I think it is still OK as level 4 seems to be highly experienced and bu heads.

Y’all ever offered a kill fee as, like, a token of gratitude/enticement to stick with the project when a schedule was dragging on but you knew you needed to bid/treat to get the job in shape, but also knew you’d have to pause before awarding and potentially revise bids/treatments again? Tell me your stories! And, how much of a kill fee seems reasonable here?

Help!

My girlfriend and I live in the same 1BR apt (600sq ft.) in NY. Both full time telework. She is constantly stressed from her job, whereas, my project is currently in a lull and I'm not busy. I like to walk around the apartment and one of the places along my walk is the bedroom, where she works. I work in the living room. I always ask to walk in and give her some "love" as she's constantly stressed. Today, we fought because I "bother" her too much and add to her stress. What do I do?

Typical crazy time on project. Working everyday. How are folks keeping work/life balance to make sure there is time for family and the rest of your life? Feel like projects are setup to give as few resources as possible and make us work excessive hours for small pay raises and bonuses. Don’t want to use up all my good working years. Especially with aging in-laws/parents, teenage children to set a positive example for and a spouse that needs and deserves time. Looking for any valuable insights!
