I am a developer with 6+ yrs of experience in dynamics CRM. Is it a good decision to learn data engineering and switch the domain.?
I mostly have experience in building ssrs reports n customisation in dynamics CRM.
Or learning power bi and switching into data analytics is a good way to start.
I have interest in database so considering data engineer.

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. My partner and I are not big spenders and anticipate have enough to retire comfortably in 40s (obviously a lot can change). I have been assured I will become SM in next year (currently 31 years old).

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Foreign LLM student here. I plan to take the NY bar exam in February. I’m thinking of taking a bar prep course (most likely Barbri). They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. The difference in price is substantial – 2.5k for the traditional course vs 6k for the extended one. Any thoughts/recommendations on which one I should take? So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?
