Hi all, am currently working as a QA in an MNC in the SAP domain, but my desire is to become a developer as am quite strong in coding and also currently working on upskilling my knowledge.

Is it possible for me to switch the role as a developer when I switch to another company as I'm still having a year bond period?

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Does anyone who switched from consulting to product management have any recommendations of h helpful PM books, courses, or programs?

I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I did not think through the course I picked and it is new to the university so I would be in the very first batch. It’s in data science which I know nothing about and don’t even know if I’ll enjoy it. I’m so stressed about what the course will be like and what my opportunities would look like.
