No, but depending on what kind of fixing up you want to do it may be helpful to have a real estate agent walkthrough. They can help by letting you know what kinds of things might need just cosmetic updates vs what might be worth a more extensive re-do. They can also give you some feedback on typical costs or recommend contractors etc

I would echo the recommendations to have a real estate agent visit and advise you.
I bought my condo a little over three years ago and I made sure to really tune into what he was saying. As a result, the projects I tackled were replacing the slider and windows, replacing the electrical panel, switches and outlets, washer and dryer, furnace, hot water heater and getting a dryer outlet installed for the new dryer.
It cost me a pretty penny, but I also got my place for cheap, considering all the upgrades I knew I needed to do.
You may want to look at the various systems first (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) first to make sure that you don’t need upgrades on those, then go from there.
