Hi, I recently interviewed with Google and today the HR said that all my rounds went fine and they got a positive feedback for all but the position they were recruiting for has went on hold. Is this an indirect way of saying that i have been rejected or should I believe the HR who says the interview results are valid for an year and she will let me know if any opening comes by and then i would not have to give an interview

I've had three interviews so far: 1) with the recruiter, 2) with the hiring manager, 3) with the lead of an adjacent division.
