I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? If yes what would be a subtle way to do so?

I would love to work at Microsoft. Currently hold a TS clearance, 4.5 years in project management, bachelor’s degree in Business. I am currently unemployed (but looking) an opportunity to consult has potentially fallen into my lap. Before I shut it down for a lack of experience, I want to know if it's something that I can even do. It's a very very small company, not even 3 FTE. But they are looking for someone to come in, create a Handbook(I can do that), provide benefits, etc.

Is that difficult to implement? I can't imagine it being so, but I don't want to set myself up to fail.

I was called into HR because a coworker overheard a conversation between me and another colleague taking about cable/streaming shows that we watched or recorded. I mentioned that I recorded a few true-crime shows. My colleague jokingly said, "I hope I'm not on your hit-list!". I replied, "Not anymore." HR pulled me in to say a coworker complained about me talking about hit-lists, and they were now scared. HR wouldn't say who complained, so do I have a right to ask about the resolution to this?

I have had a 60%+ increase in volume from this time last year, but we have not had a new hire in my role to assist with the influx. Additionally, others in my department are overworked and they're delegating down to me.
