I am reliable, efficient and professional with my duties and I can teach eloquently with or without any supervision. Education system in my country is poor that’s why I’m in search for work opportunities out of the country.

Wanted to understand what happens in FAANG companies if H-1b visa runs out and there is no I-140 in place to extend visa beyond 6 years. Do they transfer the employee to a non-US office E.g. Canada? Does anyone here been through this scenario?

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.

What do you do over your schools winter break? How long is it? I have almost 2 full weeks and I'm debating between doing a ton of prep or actually trying to relax. 2nd year teacher and last year was mostly virtual so I had more "free" time to get stuff together.
