I'm agricultural professional working in the niche supply chain of seed production. The work we do has many parallels to any large scale supply chain. My journey has led to my role as a Business Partner to a large ERP solutions provider. The work is dynamic, but in short I'm on a select team developing a global ERP system replacement for my company. Titles vary across companies for this role. Does anyone have insight on comparable salaries for such work?

How do those of you that struggle w/depression handle working at home? Going in to the office gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning but I’m struggling today due to offices closed (snow)

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. I feel like it gave the impression that I don’t know what I’m doing. Any suggestion how I can recover from this?

I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?

We're not sure what those incentives look like yet, but here are some post-announcement rumors from my co-workers:

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
