How to negotiate a raise for a promotion? I've been offered a job in a different group at the same company that would be a promotion and a 10% raise on my current salary. I just received a 3% annual raise 1 month ago and the 10% is on top of that. My new salary would be $106k. How hard is this for you? For me working in advertising is incredibly hard. I’ve been an Art Director for long time and despite of experience, my job has never become any easier.
