I’ve accepted an offer with PwC UK (Tax) on 24 march and my , start date is next month(may 25). I’ve received my contract and welcome booklet, and I’ve completed all onboarding steps so far (right to work, fit to work, independence checks, medical, etc.).

My Experian screening took a bit longer but was completed earlier this week.

I’m now about a month away from starting and haven’t heard anything further from my recruiter or PwC. Just wondering:

i had my canadian pr last year but didn’t do the landing since covid hit. the deadline passed of course and the immigration office reached out to check if i’m still interested and if so i should re-do a medical. assuming my medical goes through and my pr is processed and accepted again, does anyone know if landing is still a thing? my original plan was to do a landing and move after 2 years. is this still possible or does canada basically want you to move in a year or so after pr is granted?
