Hi, I’ve found it’s mostly women in the office that have hindered me, in my present team I have about 5 female colleagues who actively blank me, never even spoke to them, I have tried to be friendly and get one word answers. How do I deal with this? And have women found that men have been better advocates, mentors and allies?

Truth, you cannot make people like you. Focus on your professional and personal development, job accuracy and communication. Once you start elevating your efforts and improving your work, this will be the core to moving forward. If the people you are speaking of are your supervisors, then start looking for another department or division to work in within your current company or move companies.
It is nice to have everyone get along and have fun, but truly, you were hired for your expertise, so you need to show up and show out, no matter what!

Working at a company and they can’t seem to hold on to their female, black and people of color employees. I blinked and 3 of the people who were in my onboarding class were either fired or they left.
