Can someone explain how the case prep process usually works
Do I need to do case study prep as I did back for MBB
Should I do a course (like Exponent) and research every company for good products and initiatives etc. for BizOps
Dont wait to spend 50 hours exhausting myself for case prep! Would much appreciate if someone can explain what sources so I am efficient in prep

My experience:
If you’re applying to PM roles, do consider a structured period of study, since those interviews tend to follow similar structures and look for you to address a set number of things that you might not have spent much time thinking about (customer segments, identifying pain points, prioritizing features, etc.)
For something like BizOps, I think whatever prep you did for McK is good enough, though do spend some time 1) understanding the company’s business model drivers in depth, and 2) looking at Exponent, Glassdoor, etc. to get specific examples of questions that are often asked by the company.
In the case of DD, they will almost certainly give you a take-home component, though it’s usually pretty easy if you’re structured about it
Trying to understand whether I should practice full cases, or focus on mini cases + prep on Tech company (org structure, products, news, initiatives, competitors, growth etc)
