Hi, need some guidance on selecting offers. I am currently Technology Manager within Deloitte Tax. I have received 2 offers - Sr. TPM - Salesforce at Seagate Technology and Sr. TPM at Intuit. In the long run, I am looking to work at companies like Google/Microsoft/Amazon/Meta at Sr. TPM or higher level. Based on my current offers, which out of the 2 - Seagate or Intuit will be better from exit opportunities point of view. Note: Seagate offer is higher than Intuit by 20K in total compensation

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.

I’m also curious about whether this is something that I should just discuss with my recruiter directly?
