Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. What is going on with recruiters? I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but not even an email back saying “something came up” or “we’ve moved on” ? I’ve been ghosted after every final interview during my recent job search, but never had I been ghosted before even having the first call??

Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. I have an offer from a reputed company(company 1) and have joining with them tomorrow. I have got a call from another company(company 2) for which I was interviewed before. They will get all approvals and release offer by tomorrow.
Company 2 is not so big but very good one and I am more inclined towards this. What should I do in this situation? Shall I trust company 2 and don’t reject company 1?
