Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale. Like, I assume that they are paid based on the level of the candidate that they bring in, but how are their incentives ALIGNED? If you as the candidate get a higher comp package, do they get a higher placement fee? Or is it in their best interest to keep your comp within (i.e., below) a certain range?
