JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Coach
Give it an extra day or two. Things come up, especially on a Friday. I don't think there's a rule that any response that takes longer than a day means no.
Thank you so much for your response. Yeah, there's no rule, was just wondering given previous experiences of recent hires.
Often it's one day but you also interviewed on a Thursday. Please allow for the fact a Principal may be on vacation or busy wrapping up project work before the weekend, or that the recruiting team couldn't assemble all interviewers' feedback in time for a phone call before the weekend.
Thank you so much for your response. Yeah, that makes sense. Hopefully, should hear back from them soon.
I waited for 3 working days before I got the call from the principal. Don’t worry about it, and distract yourself with other things in the meantime.
Thank you so much for your response. Yeah, I'm waiting and hoping to hear back from them soon.
Please don’t worry about it!
I interview something like 3-4 people a month and our “mean” turnaround time is probably three days. In a typical process:
- calendars are nuts so it takes two days to schedule a debrief with all the interviewers and HR
- someone misses the debrief and it takes an extra day to get their feedback
- P calls the candidate either that day or the next
Thank you so much for such a detailed response. It is really helpful. Hopefully, should hear back from them soon.
