Amazing Mexican place with great guacamole called Chipotle, Unreal coffee shop called Dunkin Donuts. Not quite Michelin star but decent
Well Dunkin really is a must go….
Pro
Asta would probably be on the Michelin guide if they knew that Boston existed.
Otherwise:
Deuxave
SRV
Mistral
Kava
Ilona
Grill 23
Pammy’s (Cambridge)
Sarma (Cambridge)
Sarma Somerville
Yume Ga Arukara for the best udon. Go for the cold niku udon.
^ this. Not many restaurants will wow you in boston, but this place is special. If you can, go to the OG one in Cambridge instead of the seaport one.
O Ya for upscale sushi. Respectfully buttermilk and bourbon is no good.
Elephant walk has cool French Cambodian cuisine. Myers and Chang for modern Chinese.
Row 34
Carmelinas
Kava neo-taverna
some of my favorites to recommend
Oh ya
Ostra
Buttermilk and Bourbon
Warren Tavern. Super Boston authentic pub full of history. And real Bostonians.
Row 34
Grotto. Their Caesar salad and bolognese is divine.
Season to Taste (Cambridge)
I might tell a joke, but I’d never tell a lie
Capital Burger on Newbury st. Best burger in town. Union oyster oldest restaurant. Contessa rooftop.
Contessa.
Bar Vlaha for excellent northern Greek (boar, freshwater fish, etc.) - super unique
Hecate is a cool bar. If you go on a Tuesday right at 5, you can probably get in. I love sarma. Not fancy at all, but i kinda love Life Alive. It’s in the burbs, but I am a big sushico fan. The mushroom rolls are sooo good.
Go to Krasi for dinner first then Hecate. Perfect dinner / drinks combo.
Urban hearth, forage
If Michelin didn't ignore Boston I wonder which restaurants would be included.
Michelin doesn’t ignore Boston, Boston will not pay for them to come and create a guide. It’s pay to play.
Matsu Nori for the best hand rolls!
